Drawn at First Sight

We partnered with British artist Stephen Wiltshire to showcase the memorability of the Nissan Micra’s new design.

This web film documents how artist Stephen Wiltshire, renowned for his detailed cityscape drawings from memory, managed to do drew every detail of the car to scale after seeing it for only 60 seconds. However, not with his habitual pen and paper, but in virtual reality using Google Tilt Brush, a tool he’d never used before.

The result is an artistic collaboration that tells the story of a talented artist mastering a new technology and an original work of art that shows off every detail of the Micra’s design.

This film was broadcasted on digital (web and social media) in some EU countries.
It was also available in-store, with the possibility to explore Stephen’s drawing of the Micra with Oculus goggles.
